This is a recent piece I did for the Texas Observer. The issue it’s in should be out soon. The article is about how Rick Perry, the governor of Texas, would like to privatize major highways and turn then into toll roads. The magazine lwanted to use an actual photo for Perrys’s face. The final is done with collage and acrylic paint. The final is below.
